i just read the girl with the dragon tattoo!
spoiler: it is terribly written and sucks!

SMALL positives:
i like that it’s set in sweden, he’s always talking about how cold it is
they use public transportation so much
explains what an ipod is
“an mp3 player hardly bigger than a matchbox which could store her huge cd collection”
the main character goes to prison for two months and describes it as an uneventful vacation. the american penal system could never!
in summary:
this book is just the author vicariously living out his sexual fantasies through the exploits of the main character
it reminded me why i don’t read books by men ;)
and i also watched the movie, which i think was actually better.
(although the casting was inaccurate compared 2 de bookie)
